Curu is a beautiful park with a Spider Monkey rescue center and several walking trails through a variety of eco systems and mangroves. But the main attraction is it’s proximity to excellent snorkeling and scuba diving, where you can enjoy a wide variety of exotic fish and larger sea creatures such as sea tirtles, dolphins and even whales. Tours start at $ 55- per person or $ 75- with transportation to and from the property.

Tortuga Islands is a series of small tropical islands with beautiful white sand beaches and abundant opportunities to sightsee, relax, snorkel and scuba diving. Tours may be arranged with or without ground transportation from the house and ½ and full day trips are also available usually leaving from the nearby town Montezuma, where you may also want to spend some time and visit the waterfall and take a dip in the fresh water pools.

Various tours are available depending upon your riding ability and the amount of time you’d like to dedicate to this tour. Many riders opt for an afternoon tour which includes a short ride up the mountain in Mal Pais to enjoy the spectacular views, which then descends to the beach for a pleasant ride along the beach ending around sunset in front of the property. Tours start at $45 per person

This action packed guided tour is a great way for adrenaline junkies to see the area and have some real fun ! Tours may begin & end on the property. Be prepared as this tour may include (at your discretion) mountains, river crossing, and rides along the beach. ATV’s are also available for daily and weekly rentals and ATV’s may me dropped off and picked up at your private home.

Curu Nature Reserva has a finger long Bay and estuary where you are sure to see a wide variety of endemic birds and sea creature, monkeys sloths Macaws and even crocodiles have been spotted on this tour. For the adventurous and hearty you may even attempt to paddle out of the Bay to the archipelago of the Tortuga Islands. This is an ideal spot for flat water SUP paddling. SUP’s may be rented in town and paddled right in front of the property, depending on your ability level and the swell/ocean conditions.

Bioluminescence can be created in a rare number of pristine environments found in only a handful of sites around the planet, far from modern industry and human impact. The glow is a naturally occurring phenomenon produced by algal blooms that carry and support millions of bioluminescent dinoflagellates. These tours are magical and are conducted in small groups for minimal environmental impact to this pristine and unique marine environment.
